If you're Jewish, age 18-26, and have never been on a peer-group trip to Israel, Hillel offers the best ways for you to have the time of your life in Israel.

Taglit-Birthright Israel: Hillel wants to send you on a FREE 10-day peer trip to Israel. The trip will occur during Winter Break 2008-2009. Please discuss this issue with your parents, and pass along any questions you have.

To register, go to www.freeisraeltrip.org. Registration begins September 10th and will end in the next month!

Do you want to contribute to our history of Jewish Life at LSU? Did you fall in love with your sweetheart at LSU? Were you a member of a Jewish Fraternity or Sorority? Share your stories with us, and we'll post them on our Archives page.

• President: overseeing entire organization, handling public relations, developing campus and community coalitions
• Vice President: developing committees (Religious, Social, etc), meeting with committee chairs to program events, engaging new members, acting as historian, developing committees (Recruitment, Liasons to SAM and TFI), meeting with committee chairs to coordinate members
• Secretary: coordinating calendars (University-wide, SAM, TFI), sending listserv emails, keeping minutes at meetings, keeping contacts with liaisons and webmaster
• Treasurer: coordinating budget and finances, fundraising, handling grants/scholarships/conferences for members, contacting alumni

You are entitled to do so, but please let your teachers know now! If you or they have any questions, please ask us!
